The Client

Advisory Accountants

(formerly Alyssa J. Dillon, Inc.)

Context

I began working with Alyssa during an early growth phase, designing the initial brand and launch assets for her education business. Over several years, the engagement expanded to include ongoing launches, workshops, sales enablement, and lifecycle programs.

In 2023, I joined the company in-house, leading a full rebrand and name change to Advisory Accountants to reflect the maturity of the business and its shift toward higher-level advisory services.

This case study represents long-term creative leadership, not a single engagement.

Team

  • Founder/CEO, operations, sales, marketing, copy, development, design

Industry

  • Online education

  • Professional services

My Role

Across multiple phases, I served as Art Director and Creative Lead, owning brand systems, creative governance, and delivery. This work spanned both external collaboration and embedded, in-house leadership.

The Problem

As the business scaled, creative demand expanded across launches, workshops, sales conversations, and ongoing marketing — but without centralized standards and systems, consistency and efficiency were at risk. The challenge was to support growth without fragmenting the brand or slowing delivery.

  • Clear governance the team could follow

  • Repeatable templates for high-volume execution

  • A cohesive experience across touchpoints as offerings expanded

Solution

Brand Stewardship & Creative Systems Over Time

Phase 1: Initial Brand & Launch Foundation

I designed the original brand identity and launch assets to position Alyssa as a credible authority and support early program launches. The focus was on clarity and credibility — creating a strong foundation the business could grow from.

  • Core visual identity and positioning

  • Sales and workshop materials

  • Initial marketing assets required to launch with confidence

Phase 2: Live Event Execution

Following the initial brand launch, I led brand execution for MoneyMaker Live Nashville and Miami (national live events within Alyssa’s ecosystem). Delivering a cohesive experience across digital, print, and live environments required clear standards, fast decision-making, and cross-functional coordination.

This event surfaced an important insight: while the brand worked well for launches and digital programs, it was starting to strain under increased scale, visibility, and real-world complexity. That insight directly informed the next phase of work.

  • Event branding and style

  • Stage screens and large-format visuals

  • Speaker and presentation slides

  • Social promotion assets

  • Print and event collateral

Phase 3: Rebrand & Name Change — Advisory Accountants

As the business evolved, the original brand no longer reflected the level of service, authority, or maturity of the work. In 2023, I joined the team in-house and led a full rebrand and name change to Advisory Accountants. The rebrand aligned the brand with a more sophisticated advisory audience and set the stage for scalable execution.

  • Updated brand strategy and positioning

  • New visual identity system

  • Brand guidelines and governance

  • Web, social, program, and marketing applications

Phase 4: Systemization, Templates & Enablement

With the new brand in place, I focused on building repeatable creative systems to support growing volume and delegation. These systems reduced manual effort and allowed the team to execute consistently without relying on one-off design work.

  • Social and email template systems

  • File structure and naming standards

  • Enablement assets for marketing, sales, and delivery

Phase 5: Sales & Workshop Deck Systems

I created a repeatable deck system for workshops and sales conversations, designed to support live instruction and conversion. These decks directly supported revenue-generating activity.

  • Clear visual rhythm for presenting

  • Speaker notes for consistency

  • Modular slides that could be reused and adapted

These decks directly supported revenue-generating activity.

  • 100% sales call close rate

  • $52K in revenue added through workshop-driven conversions

Outcome

Results

These outcomes reflect creative leadership at scale, not isolated wins.

60+ hours/month manual work eliminated through templates & systems

Faster turnaround for campaigns and workshop launches

A brand system the team could rely on long-term

  • $58K in first-week launch revenue

  • $104K generated within six months

  • +85K Instagram followers following launch

Summary

By owning brand evolution and creative systems over time, the brand matured alongside the business, creative output stayed consistent as volume increased, teams could execute without reinventing the wheel, and leadership could focus on growth instead of cleanup.

This is what long-term creative ownership looks like.

"We hit $100K months after elevating my brand and systems. Everything felt aligned, and I finally stopped showing up as the amateur in my industry. That rebrand gave me the confidence and presence I needed to scale.”
